Lisa Salcedo, LCSW is a licensed psychotherapist who is passionate about helping people through their most challenging times. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Barry University.
Lisa provides compassionate care, creating safe and therapeutic relationships with her clients, encouraging them to bravely confront and resolve their issues.
She has worked with bereaved children and teens for years, and continues to help bereaved families not only heal, but thrive as they move forward adapting to a life without their loved one.
Lisa works with children, teens, and women struggling with anxiety, self-esteem issues, and situational depression. Her goal is to help clients build a tool box of skills and strategies to meet and resolve stressors, heal life challenges, and implement guilt-free self-care for healthy, joyful, and successful lives.
Lisa has long advocated for women, empowering them to meet and overcome life challenges. with parenting, pregnancy, postpartum, and pregnancy loss.
She integrates a variety of modalities with clients. This includes traditional talk-therapy, play therapy, expressive arts, mindfulness, and self-compassion. These techniques enable them to create a plan that heals hearts and strengthen minds.
